don’t you see that your pastor has even stopped you. Don’t be arrogant”. Then the man asked who did you ask before praying here. Then he answered him and said he went to ask the chief and the son. So the man said ”here, we don’t pray here. It’s a traditional place so the gods don’t allow that” but as he is the head teacher here he will allow him. He will give him one classroom so he can be doing prayers there. But he want to tell him something, when he was coming he saw the man of God in a lot of crowd performing miracles, signs and wonders. So I know that you are a good man. So based on what he saw that’s why he is giving him a place if not so he would have sacked all of them. Then he told them he doesn’t have money. He said he shouldn’t worry, anytime he comes he should just come and take the keys and sweep the place and do fellowship. A time is coming when the same God who showed him that vision, that same God will visit him and he will then come to agreement for payment. But he asked which day is it convenient for him to come to do fellowship. So he should come on that day and take the key. so on the second week of taking the key he saw a lady sitting under a tree near the school park, the Lord then opened his eyes that the lady was dating three guys at the same time. He then beckoned her to come. He then started revealing mysteries about her current life and family
HOW IT ALL BEGUN
EARLY LIFE
Bishop Eric Dogbatse was born on the 21st of October 1979 at Anloga District in a village called Alakple in the Volta Region of Ghana. At the age of seven years, He enrolled himself to Alakple Roman Catholic School in class three and furthered school in 1989, he went to his father’s place to continue his primary education in 1995.
So in 1995, he came to Ashaiman to hustle around for one year and he furthered his education at the Tema Technical Institute in a course of sturdy in Mechanical Craft Engineering Practice (MCEP).
He went to do his attachment at the Ghana Ports and Harbors Authority(GPHA). He was able to handle heavy duty machines, He repaired forklift machine, cranes do routing maintenance and driving them aswell.
He also did attachment with Indo Ghana, Lever Brothers, VALCO, Ghana Ports and Habours Authority, Tema. He is very principled, God fearing and love humanity. In his quest to advance in life he also did several businesses like managing school from scratch to J.H.S (Eagle Foundation Preparatory School-Ashaiman Official Town), selling of goods and services.
He started house to house ministry, hospital’s, market centres and home cell Bible studies before he went to Nii Amui School Park to start fellowship.
He gathered about seven youths. The first Wednesday he prayed and did deliverance for about one hour thirty minutes. The next week before worship A man came and begun to shout on top of his voice hey! hey!! Then one of the ladies said, you drunkard? Then he stopped her that she should allow him. Then the man said, ”listen to your pastor
issues to her and she was so amazed that she even went to broadcast him in that community hence through her the sunday service started at the classroom. A year later, the head teacher came and told him that the other churches around are jealous of him. They are telling him to sack him so he advised him to start looking for a better and bigger place to relocate.
So that’s how Word Encounter international chapel was born. The year of registration of the church was 2009. The former name was Overcomers Int. Ministry. So he was about to register with that name when he got to know someone has already registered with the same name. So there and then, the Lord revealed the new name which is Word Encounter Int. Chapel with a scripture 1 Peter 1:25. So he had a bible school and impartation school. So far the school has ordained a lot of pastors, minister all across the nation. After which the church moved to someone’s uncompleted hall at the new road.
There was a woman who was going to the church of Pentecost adjacent Nii Amui School Park. She was passing by the church to her church when the Holy Spirit arrested her. She just stood motionless in front of the church entrance and was gazing inside when his mother who was a member beckoned her to come in, which she did. So as she sat down the holy spirit revealed so many things about her including a building she has done footing but couldn’t complete. So he took his spiritual daughter Esther there and they prayed there. Then there were opened doors and through her the new place was acquired.
She had an spiritual attack that they threw on the ground for her so upon stepping on the thing, she saw her soul left her. So before people rushed to her aid she came back to life and shouted, ”don’t take me to the hospital” take me to Apostle Eric Dogbatse. He was still living at Klagon and he had to come down to attend to the woman. So they took her, to his wife to be’s place adjacent the Nii Amui School Park family house. There the Lord gave him the direction to
do to revive her back and she did. She came back to life. it
was there she vowed that she will be a blessing to the church for her life
Sake. Then she gave the church one plot at its present location at Katamanso.
So the Lord spoke to him and told him
when he come, he should capture more of the land because he has given the whole
community to him and that the vision is big. So this is how Word Encounter
expanded. It’s been fourteen (14) years now to the glory of the Lord. Life has
been transformed but as human as we are, many have been unfaithful and
ungrateful. If few have been faithful like this woman, the Church would have
grown and expanded more than this.
But in all the Best is Yet to come As Christ Lived.
